Thursdays 

Club Dave

Bristol institution Club Dave takes on it’s first ever weekly residency at TheSpotted Cow! For those that don’t know Club Dave is a party in honour of anyone luckyenough to be called Dave, those not so lucky are all welcome and can expect tohear a non-stop medley of anything from the latest cutting edge release to along forgotten 80’s classic. For their first weekly session El Harvo and hismates will bring the party to the pub and provide a bit of midweeklight-relief from the stresses of work etc. Every week they will come along tothe Spotted Cow with a bag of great tunes and chuck them on for your listeningpleasure, this could be the start of something special…

Fridays

Guest slots from some of Bristol’s finest selectors playing their favouritepub classics plus soul, ska, reggae, funk and blues. Expect to see the likesof Steve Rice, Queen Bee, Dj Derek and Payback HIFI plus many, many more…

Saturdays

 

Bedmo Disco

Bedminster’s very own disco superstars provide a weekly soundtrack of discorelated nonsense with guest slots from such luminaries as Sell by Dave, PuffinJack, Rich Carnage, El Harvo, Christophe and Joe 90.

Swiss Tony’s Big Quiz / Disco Bingo

The time has finally come when we at The Spotted Cow unleash our ‘Host withthe Most’, ‘The King of the Callers’ ‘Bedminster’s answer to Les Dennis’ theone and only ‘Swiss Tony’. Swiss is best known as a local DJ/Band Frontman and all round celebrity and hehas decided to find time in his very busy schedule to dedicate every Tuesdayat The Spotted Cow to his very own brand of light entertainment.

Tuesday’swill be Swiss Tony’s BIG QUIZ alternating with Swiss Tony’s DISCO BINGO. Whether you fancy yourself as a master of trivia or an expert on Pop they’llbe plenty of chances for a great prize if you enter the BIG QUIZ.Alternatively if you like to take a chance with Tony’s ‘disco balls’ why notenter the DISCO BINGO. Every week we’re asking teams to sign up for great funand prizes and afterwards listen to a few of Tony’s great tune selections, thefun is endless!

THE BIG QUIZ will be open to teams of 4 upwards

To play in either the QUIZ or BINGO entry is £2 per person

TONY CLARK’SJAZZ SUNDAY

 

When it comesto Jazz there really can’t be anyone in Bristol with more knowledge than TonyClark. Now coming close to entering his seventh decade Tony has been part ofthe Southwest Jazz scene for nearly as long. From hosting his own Radio Show toplaying alongside some of the greats Tony Clarke has lived and breathed Jazzand happily shared this love with others.

 

Musicallyhowever he does not limit his style to only Jazz and is happy to mix up Blues,Country, Americana and much more, his Sunday sessions will be a journey throughhis vast collection.

 

Every Sundayafternoon come and join Tony and take in the warmth of our roaring fires whilsttucking into one of our legendary Roast dinners and listening to this finemusical selection. Our fantastic chefs have a choice of great locally sourcedmeats plus vegetarian options with the Roasts available all afternoon.
